Bambterra™ series

Bambterra™ is our eco-friendly nonwoven bamboo mat engineered for soil stabilization, erosion control, and landscaping. Acting as a natural blanket, Bambterra™ helps protect soil surfaces, retains moisture, and supports vegetation growth. While fully biodegradable, it delivers reliable performance during the critical early stages of soil rehabilitation, slope greening, and ecological restoration projects. Bambterra™ is a natural answer to the demand for temporary geotextiles that leave no environmental footprint.

Nataural Bamboo Fiber & HGT-FiberX™

Bamboo fiber is one of nature’s most versatile resources. From lightweight technical textiles to durable building materials, bamboo offers a renewable pathway to replace synthetic and carbon-intensive materials.

At Hangterra, we developed the HGT-FiberX™ mechanical extraction process, a patented innovation that produces both long fibers (for premium composites, reinforcement, and textiles) and short fibers (for nonwovens, insulation, and packaging). This flexibility allows us to tailor bamboo fiber for diverse industries while minimizing chemical use and environmental impact.

Beyond performance, the technique we developed together with our research partner UTHM is designed with climate impact in mind.”

Hangterra is a Malaysian company producing eco-friendly high quality bamboo product materials. We are involved in the entire cycle from seed to product, ensuring we live up to the highest standards.

And we are part of the rapidly growing global market for sustainable bamboo product raw materials, fuelled by the need to reduce CO2 emissions. Sustainable plantations

All our bamboo comes from our plantations that are managed in an environmentally friendly manner. We use an abandon land , and existing bamboo forest land as our resources . Cooperating with local forestry departments and NGO’s to contribute to land rehabilitation and sustainable forest management.

Our products and activities support Conservation & Preservation efforts, providing real solutions for logging and land degradation issues. HangTerra Bamboo is an example of the Harmony between nature and human beings.
